Phase 3A: From A certificate to B certificate


During jumps 25-50, you grow towards more skills, more freedom, and more control.

You have the basics under control, and now the real flying begins. In this phase, you develop into a confident skydiver who can safely jump in groups and builds increasing air awareness.


During this phase, you work on:

  • relative work and small FS groups
  • precise canopy landings
  • tracking and safe break-offs
  • situational awareness
  • discover which discipline suits you best info* video*



The best training courses in this phase are:


  • Theory B-letter info*

You deepen your knowledge of safety, procedures, aviation regulations, and group jumping in preparation for the theory exam.


  • Tracking cursus  events*

Highly recommended around jump 30–40. You will learn:

  • more efficient and secure tracking
  • execute better break-offs
  • develop more body control
  • laying the foundation for angle flying

An important skill for every skydiver.


  • Tunneltraining

Ideally between jumps 30–60. Although optional, this is one of the fastest ways to learn to fly better. Just 10–15 minutes of tunnel training can be equivalent to many real jumps in terms of body flight.


Goals towards jump 50:

  • Comfortable jumping in small groups
  • Good and controlled tracking
  • Safe and clear break-offs
  • Passed theory B license
  • Making a first choice for your favorite discipline

Phase 3B: Discover your discipline


From all-round skydiver to your own style.

Now it gets really fun. You have gained enough experience to discover where your passion lies within the sport.

This is the phase where you develop your own style and get more and more enjoyment out of group jumps and technique.



The best training courses in this phase are:


  • Freefly 1 cursus  events*

Often wise from jump 75–100, when:

  • your belly skills are stable
  • tracking is well developed
  • you have built up sufficient awareness

You will learn the basics of head-up flying and vertical control in the air.


  • Advanced canopy coaching coach*

Very valuable from approximately jump 80 . Focus on:

  • accuracy
  • more efficient patterns
  • flying in various wind conditions
  • traffic management onder canopy


Goals in this phase:

  • Jumping independently and safely in groups
  • Develop strong air awareness
  • More control under the canopy
  • Discover which discipline truly suits you
  • The letter B is obtained
